The Kerala government has approved a proposal to provide financial assistance of 30 thousand rupees to legally married transgender couples in the state. For this, an amount of three lakh rupees has also been released from the government fund. Which legally enter wedlock even in the current financial year. Through this, 10 transgender couples can be given Rs 30,000. Kerala Transgender Couple Marriage Assistance Scheme was intended to help transgender people build a social life through marriage. Parents of one of the married couples must also be from the transgender community to get assistance under this scheme.
