PICME is one of the best schemes for pregnant women in the Tamilnadu State of India. PICME- Pregnancy and Infant Cohort Monitoring and Evaluation provides the best facilities to pregnant women and their newborn children till the registration of the birth certificate. Parents of the expecting baby can avail of the facility of the PICEME scheme by registering through the online portal of the state government.
The government of the Tamilnadu state will take care of all the procedures and give facilities to the registered parents of expecting newborns till they provide the birth certificate.

PICME Online PDF Registration Form
The government of Tamilnadu and the Department of Public Health and Preventive Medicine have launched this scheme for all mothers who are expecting children. An online Application form is available for applicants online. Applicants have to visit the Government’s online portal and fill up the online PDF application.
The applicant has to register first with the Aadhar Card and authentic mobile number to create the login id of the applicant to fill up the online PDF form. After making a login id and password applicant can fill up the online application form.

PICME Online/ Offline Application
The government of Tamilnadu state and the Public health department have given both offline and online registration to avail the facilities of this scheme for expectant mothers. Offline ways to get register for the PICME scheme can be done through the nearest Asha workers, Aanganwadi workers, Nearest government health centers, hospitals, and other health facilities. Once applicants get registered all the medication and other health-related issues will be monitored by a local Nurse from the date of registration to the giving birth certificate. once you get your user id and password you can check the status of your application and the benefits of the scheme online.
Benefits of PICME and Dr. Muthulaxmi Reddy Maternity Benefit Scheme:
The government of Tamil Nadu launched this scheme for Pregnant women in the State. Under this state government has provided Financial aid of Rs. 18000.
- Rs. 2000 installment will be paid to the pregnant women at the 12 weak completion of the pregnancy
- At the completion of 3 months, the next installment of the same amount Rs 2000/ will be paid.
- 3rd installment will be paid as the same amount at the completion of 4 months.
- The fifth installment will be paid at the completion of 4 months of pregnancy
- After delivery, the 5th installment of Rs4000 will be paid. The term of the installment is delivery of the child will be at a government hospital.
- At the time of completion of the PENTA/OPA/2 IPV vaccination government will be paid the next installment of Rs 4000/.
- After completing the age of 12 months and final vaccination government will pay the last installment of Rs. 2000/-.
Benefits of Birth certificate:
Registered applicants do not have to be worried about their birth certificates. you can easily apply online for the birth certificate of the baby by using the RHA code. RHA number is given at ti time of registration. Applicants must have to save their RHA code.
