How To Fill HDFC Bank DD (Demand Draft)?
- Customers need to fill out the downloaded PDF form correctly and submit it to the bank.
- The banker will check and process the making of the Demand Draft in favor of the drawee.
- Once every piece of information is verified by Banker your application will be forwarded to the Branch manager.
- The branch manager will recheck the information and forward it to the final process of making DD.
- Now the bank will deduct the requested amount from the customer.
- After deducting the amount from the account bank will hand over the Hard copy of the DD to the customer.
DD Charges of HDFC Bank
Every Bank deducts the charges for making DD. HDFC Bank also deducts the charges from making Demand Draft. Charges depend upon the Required amount of the customer.
- Less the Rs 10000.00 HDFC Bank will charge Rs 50.00 to the customer.
- The amount of Rs 10000.00 and the above HDFC bank will charge Rs 5/1000, which will be a minimum amount of Rs 75.00 and a Maximum amount of Rs 10000.00 to the customer.
Validity of HDFC Bank DD (Demand Draft):
Demand Draft of any bank has its own validity to deposit in Drawee’s bank Account. HDFC Bank gives 3 months validity to Demand Draft from the date of Issue. In case the Draft/Banker Cheque has not been deposited to the drawee’s bank, the drawee has to make a request for revalidation. Below are the important points of the validity and revalidation process.
- Make sure the drawee has deposited the DD within a valid period of 3 months.
- In case the customer is not able to deposit DD within the valid time then the customer has to follow the process of revalidation of the DD.
- The drawee will not be authorized for the revalidation of the expired Demand Draft.
- Only the account holder of HDCF bank you requested for the bank will be authorized for the revalidation process.
- After receiving a request from the Authorized person same HDFC Branch will go further process of revalidation of the DD.
- The Branch will check all the aspects and issue the revalidated DD in favor of the drawee with the extended validity of 3 months from the date of revalidation.
- HDFC Bank will reissue the hard copy of DD with the Same Amount.
