Eligibility Criteria
For the application of a residence certificate, the applicant must meet the following eligibility criteria.
- The applicant should be a resident of Chandigarh for the last 3 years.
- The applicant must have a house/property/land in Chandigarh.
- The applicant’s name should be included in the voter list
- In the case of minors, the document is issued based on the residence of their parents.

To apply for a residence certificate, you must go to your Regional Revenue Office and apply.
