Kerala Sabhalam Scheme – Eligibility Criteria
We suggest all the transgender students of Kerala state who are interested in avail of the financial assistance schemes have to go through the eligibility criteria of the scheme.
Students can also check their eligibility status by visiting the official website:
- Students who are above the age of 18 years must have their transgender ID card.
- Students who are below the age of 18 years have to have a self-declaration statement which must be certified by the head of the school/institution and parents of the applicant.
- The financial assistance amount will be a maximum of Rs 100000 for the eligible student.
- Students who already secured a seat of admission by self-merit in self-financing Institutes/aided/Government institutions are also eligible for this scheme.
- Students will be eligible who have secured seats in government colleges for B. Sc, MBBS, and other professional courses.
- Students who are already pursuing the diploma level course through any of the government-accredited institutions will be eligible for the Scheme.
