As an inspiration and help for such target groups, the department has formulated a new scheme called Vijayamritam which offers lifetime cash awards to meritorious differently-abled students scoring high marks in degree holder / equivalent courses, postgraduate and professional courses. Does. Through this scheme, the department aims to mainstream children with disabilities and create awareness about their fundamental rights.
Eligibility criteria
- Applicants must have passed the course from the Government Parallel College, Distance Education Center.
- The scheme is reserved for those who complete their studies in educational institutions of the state of Kerala.
- To get the benefit of the scheme, applicants should pass the examination at one go.
- If there are two or more applicant students of the same eligibility, preference will be given to the student with a high disability percentage.
Required documents
The application form has to be submitted along with the course completion certificate (with mark list), Aadhaar card, medical board certificate, copy of bank passbook duly issued by the gazetted officer.
