Who can avail LTC (Leave Travel Concession) facility?
The Government of India started the facility of LTC in 1956, which has been regulated by orders issued from time to time. According to which only the following employees can take advantage of LTC.
If both husband and wife are in employment then it will be mandatory to give in writing to the employee taking LTC that their spouse is not taking LTC from his office. Dependents may include two unmarried children or adopted children of the Government servant wholly dependent on him and an unmarried minor brother besides unmarried or divorced or widowed sister who is dependent on the Government servant.
