The Telangana government is digitizing maps of all the villages in the state. The maps of all 8,684 villages in the state have been digitized, and these maps will be available publicly and officially within a short time. The Chief Commissioner of Land Administration (CCLA) has worked to ascertain the quality of digital mapping. With the increase in population over time and the change of boundaries, there has been a remarkable change in the size and population of many villages in the state. Those changes could not be included in the maps. But today with the digitization of village maps this change has been demonstrated in all the villages of the state.
